This video contains two matches I had with the buffed LV1 Gaz-R on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 500-650 cost general with high mobility, stagger resistance when stopping to fire, two dodge rolls, high melee damage, pretty good ranged damage, great stunlock ability alongside amazing stagger accumulation ability. It is very well rounded and excels in most situations, but its reliance on stop-to-fire weapons paired with it lack of MA gives it some weak points to exploit. I hope that you enjoy watching!
This suit was buffed at the end of May 2026 with 18000/20000/22000/24000 HP depending on level, 70 thrust, 75 thrust at 650, more custom part slots at every level, LV2 Forced Injector, LV3 Forced Injector at 650, a 35% damage reduction buffer for the right shoulder armor (50% at 650), LV1 Immobile Firing System, 2800/3000/3200/3400 heat lance power depending on level, knockdown for regular heat lance swings, 2000/2200/2400/2600 power for the twin lancer, 0.33 seconds twin lancer swap time, 140% twin lancer downswing power, 550x2/600x2/650x2/700x2 rapid fire cannon power depending on level, 15 seconds rapid fire cannon overheat time, 0.77 seconds rapid fire cannon swap time, 2100/2300/2500/2700 beam saber power depending on level, 0.5 seconds beam saber swap time, alongside the addition of an instant staggering beam cannon sub-weapon.
Its primary weapon is a beam rifle with 1700 power, 3 ammo, 5.3 seconds cooldown, 12 seconds reload, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m range and 10% stagger value. This instantly staggers, but suffers from low power and from not having much ammo.
Its primary melee weapon is a heat lance with 2800 power, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time, 100% side swing modifier and 150% downswing modifier. This cannot combo swings together, but it has very high power and knocks enemies over with regular swings.
Its first sub weapon is a rapid fire beam cannon with 550x2 power, 34% heat, 300 RPM, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m range and 35%x2 stagger value. You need to stop to fire to use this, but it has outstanding stagger power and good DPS.
Its second sub weapon is a large beam saber with 2100 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown time, 0.5 seconds swap time and standard melee modifiers. This doesn't deal much damage on its own, but it has fast swap time and can be combo'd into the heat lance for big damage.
Its third sub weapon is a beam cannon with 1300x2 power, 80% heat, 4 seconds cooldown, 18 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m range and 15%x2 stagger value. You must stop to fire before using this, but it has high power and instantly staggers.
In terms of durability the LV1 Gaz-R has 18000 HP, 22 ballistic/beam resist and 10 melee resist. It lacks any buffers for the legs, but is otherwise fairly durable. It benefits from having LV1 Immobile Fire System and LV2 Emergency Evasion for defensive skills.
In terms of mobility it has 135 walk speed, 210 boost speed, 70 thrust and 72 turning speed. It benefits from having LV2 Forced Injector and LV2 Flight Control for mobility related skills.
In conclusion, I feel that the Gaz-R has definitely risen to S tier status thanks to these buffs. It just does everything really well. It effortlessly shuts down raids, can stagger lock from a distance, it can pull off powerful melee combos, it has great defensive skills, it is all a little bit too much. This thing paired with a strong support is really overpowered, the Gaz-R can wall out every raid while the support wrecks the generals on the enemy team. I think it could reasonably get a nerf. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
