“When You Score Two Goals, It's Easier to Go Out”: Flick on Yamal Substitution | APT Sports

Hansi Flick explained his decision to substitute Lamine Yamal after the Barcelona forward scored twice in their emphatic 6-1 victory over Alavés. Yamal was taken off in the 74th minute after delivering an impressive performance, helping Barcelona bounce back from consecutive defeats against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. “When you score two goals, I think it's easier to go out,” Flick said, explaining that he had also spoken with the youngster at half-time about managing his playing time. The Barcelona manager was pleased to see Yamal regain confidence in one-on-one situations and praised the performances of Raphinha and Fermín López. The substitution marked the fourth time Flick has taken Yamal off in a game this season. #hansiflick #lamineyamal #barcelona #laliga #footballnews #aptsports
