Beginner's Fly Tying Series: Easy Streamer Series - Black Nose Dace Weamer

My previous video explored how to tie a streamer or wet fly that has the ability to get down fast and stay down when swung in current. This video demonstrates the actual tying of the fly shown in that video, the Black Nose Dace Weamer. The name "Weamer" is a portmanteau of "Wet Fly" and "Streamer" as the fly incorporates the body and hackle of a wet fly with the wing, head and eyes of a streamer. The fly can be swung like a wet fly or stripped back like a streamer. The Weamer series of flies have been very effective patterns for me accounting for over 14 different species in both freshwater and the salt.
