My First Fiverr Client Gave Me a 1-Star Review… Here's What Happened

This is a short story about how my first Fiverr client gave me a 1-star review after weeks of work. In 2022, I started freelancing on Fiverr and landed my very first client, a $50 landing page project. I was excited. I wanted to prove myself. And because it was my first freelance client, I was determined to do everything I could to make sure the project went well. But what started as a simple Fiverr project turned into weeks of revisions, deadline pressure, unanswered messages, anxiety… and eventually, a 1-star review. In this video, I'm sharing the story of my first Fiverr client and one of the earliest lessons I learned as a freelancer, especially about clear communication and managing expectations. If you're new to freelancing, starting on Fiverr, trying to get your first freelance client, or learning how to work with clients, I hope my experience helps you avoid some of the mistakes I made.
