What is it like to study abroad in a small, peaceful city by the sea?
In this video, Saki, an exchange student from Japan, shares her experience studying Tourism Management at HZ University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
She talks about why she enjoys studying at HZ: the small-scale environment makes it easy to reach out to teachers and build personal connections with them. Something that really helped her feel comfortable and supported from the start.
Saki lives on campus in Vlissingen, together with her new friends. It’s her first time living on her own, but she feels confident and happy. They spend time together, cook together and explore student life in a very relaxed way.
What she loves most about Vlissingen?
The calm atmosphere, the peaceful vibe and watching the sunset at the beach!
