Marvel: Ultimate Alliance for the Nintendo Wii is an action RPG that allows you to form a team of four heroes from a massive roster of over 20 playable Marvel characters. Released as a launch title in 2006, it is known for its extensive use of Wii motion controls for combat and team-based cooperative play. Features and Gameplay Hero Roster: Assemble a team from iconic characters like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America, and Thor. The Wii version specifically includes Colossus and Moon Knight as part of the base roster, who were exclusive to "next-gen" versions at the time. Motion Controls: Combat is performed by moving the Wii Remote in different directions. For example, moving it up launches enemies into the air, while a downward motion performs a stun attack. Tilting the Nunchuk is used to rotate the camera. Multiplayer: Supports up to four players in local cooperative mode. Note that the Wii version does not support online play, unlike the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Customization: You can create a unique team name, icon, and vehicle. As you play, you earn reputation points to unlock specialized team bonuses.
