Experiencing the art of Florence

I could feel the Renaissance everywhere in Florence, from the art to the architecture. The streets were full of leather shops, and I couldn’t get enough of that authentic leather smell. Italian food peaked here for me. I’m still thinking about the bistecca alla fiorentina, a traditional Tuscan thick-cut T-bone grilled rare over hot coals. A work of art in its own right.
