Sephiria 350k+ DPS Strategy Guide

The previous 300k run was not legitimate in my eyes as I used too many sapphire rerolls in the final shop. This run is legitimate. This run used 300 sapphire throughout, then in the final shop I used another 300 just to get the MP steal artifact. That MP steal wasn't needed for the build or its DPS, it just made demonstrating DPS at the dummy feasible. So this was either 300 or 600 sapphire run depending on how you count it. The slides at the start are mostly about Boomerang; but the concepts apply to improving DPS by orders of magnitude in all builds compared to every other Sephiria guide. There are dozens of 50k builds you can take to 200k DPS if you wish. The game strategy evolves into becoming like doing EV calculations in poker; you either enjoy that or you don't. I recommend to specialise in a build for a while rather than continuously switch. To get a feel of the probability of artifacts appearing in a run and the workarounds. It can take a fair few runs to know even know the correct fruit skewer. I now don't even put magitech on fruit skewer - for this pure magitech damage build that cant do damage without finding the needed magitech artifact. Getting the most DPS started as friendly competition in public multiplayer lobbies with a few regulars. You would post your number in chat and everyone would say "nice" to each other. If someone had something surprisingly good you would learn about it. At 20k dps I couldn't find better in multiplayer lobbies so I moved to discord and asked around for the best known numbers and builds. When I started with Boomerang it was considered a 50k build. It was known to be good but slightly niche and less strong to things like Solar Blade. The highest consistent dps shown of any build in the discord or youtube was 73k from an illegitimate run. Initially 73k was my goal. After 100k I thought I was done with Sephiria. It was the big round number target. But what bothered me was talk - from long ago - of a fabled Korean player showing 300k dps with a solar blade katana. It seemed to be a proof-of-concept video where they likely spawned items or pooled items together in multiplayer. Nobody was ever able to show me the video or even tell me what website it was on. But they swore they saw it once. Could it be true? If I just found the video proof of the korean player doing 300k then I could have laid it to rest and moved on. Korean players are the masters of DPS min-maxing in my eyes! But it bugged me far more that I didn't have the "high score" - yet the only thing beating me had no proof. 300k was so far and away bigger than anything known and shown to be possible. There should have been multiple 200k videos if there was a 300k - but there were weren't. So my private Sephiria goal became to beat 300k dps in a legitimate run. Its oddly tough to estimate where a ceiling is. At 50k I didnt know if 75k was possible. At 75k I didnt know if 100k was possible. At 100k I wondered about 150k. At 150 to 200, at 200 to 300. Each new threshold took a rethink and strategy adjustments. But at 350k I do know 500k can be done without too much trouble. The mystery is 1M DPS. The holy grail. I task that to you, dear reader!
