I actually recorded this right after the last one, but had it on backlog. Well, I guess if I don't have as much else to post... Here I finally had my first Medal Battle. After one hiccup. Yeah, figures that the one match that got disconnected would have been the one from MY OWN COUNTRY. Seriously, what? (Well, Australia's internet IS pretty horrible) But I did get a real one at the end of this video. It seemed like no-one was every interested in Medal Battle back when the game was out only in the US. I'd tried to get into it several times but no-one was on. Hopefully it'll be more populated now. Between them, I have a Deathmatch on the one stage I hadn't played yet, the library. It's actually a pretty basic stage, just with less open lines of fire. Tom definately did better here that earlier, and I'm glad I brought the Medi Rifle. As for the Medal Battle... it was kinda one-sided. It feels unfair playing against countries just starting out when due to my US 3DS I've had the game for 2 months now, but oh well. Medal Battle is, in theory, pretty different to death match. There's only 5 turns and whoever collects the most medals wins. Note that going back on your own movement still means you keep any medals you picked up, so high Steam characters can potentially get a lot in one move. Setting traps for opponents is probably the best stategy in this mode; purposefully leaving clusters of medals to lure enemies in. You still lose if your team is wiped out, after all.
