From Allotment To Table & Meet Lirath! 🐱 | 80s House Renovation Ep.17

Welcome back to another episode of our 80s house renovation and new home adventure! 🏡🌱 After a VERY long break from the allotment because of studying, exams, being ill and going away, I finally made it back up there — and honestly, I was expecting everything to have completely died! 😂 But somehow, the allotment had other ideas! I managed to pick a really good haul of cherry tomatoes 🍅, the sweetcorn was looking surprisingly healthy 🌽 and the apple tree on my plot was absolutely loaded with apples! 🍎 I brought some of the harvest home and decided to make something with it. I cooked a delicious pasta dish using our homegrown cherry tomatoes, spinach, cream cheese, basil and sundried tomatoes — and it was AMAZING! 🍝❤️ It was such a lovely feeling to sit down and eat the first proper meal I've made using produce that we've grown ourselves. But that's not all for this episode… We also welcomed a new member of the family! 🐱 Meet Lirath, our new kitten, who is absolutely adorable and hilariously goofy. We built a HUGE tower for Alleria and then started the process of introducing the two kittens. And somehow, within just FIVE DAYS, they had gone from meeting each other to being best friends! 🥹❤️ From a surprise allotment harvest to our first homegrown meal and a brand new kitten joining the family, this turned into a very exciting episode!
