Faith Alone: Abraham's Pattern is Ours

Romans 4:13-25 Abraham was not justified by works. Scripture says he believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness — before circumcision, before the law, contrary to every earthly reason to hope. God promised, Abraham trusted, and God counted him righteous. Paul says this was not written for Abraham alone, but for us. The same righteousness is imputed to those who believe in Him who was delivered for our offenses and raised for our justification. Faith alone. Grace alone. Christ alone.
