The Dragon Student Used to Being Invisible — Until a Human Student Choose the Empty Seat Beside Him

The Dragon Student Used to Being Invisible — Until a Human Student Choose the Empty Seat Beside Him At a frontier colony school where humans and dragon-like Vaelith students have studied side by side for two generations, one boy sits alone every single day — not from shyness, but because an old caste custom means nobody is allowed to speak to him first. When a new human transfer student who hasn't learned the unwritten rule yet sits down across from him anyway, it sets off a quiet chain of events that will eventually reach the valley's own elder council. This is an original science-fiction HFY (Humanity, F*** Yeah) story about friendship, overdue justice, and the specific, stubborn kind of decency that comes from simply not knowing you're not supposed to look. Expect a slow-burn, emotionally grounded arc: an unlikely friendship built one lunch period at a time, a proud old engineer sidelined for over a decade by a rule nobody quite remembers the reasoning behind, a formal hearing before a council of elders, and a resolution won entirely through documentation, testimony, and one very persistent teenager's refusal to accept "that's just how it's always been" as a good enough answer. Perfect for fans of gentle sci-fi, found-family and friendship arcs, and stories where quiet human stubbornness becomes its own kind of power. Sit back and let this one play in the background while you work, study, or wind down for the night. #HFY #SciFiStory #AlienStory #FoundFamily #Friendship #HumanityFYeah #SciFiAudiobook #DragonAlien #RedditHFY #EmotionalStory #ComingOfAge
