Located in Sapa, Vietnam, Mount Fansipan is nicknamed the "Roof of Indochina". For ages, reaching the summit required a gruelling two-to-three-day trek through dense jungle, vertical mud slides, and local weather that changes its mind every five minutes.
Today, you can bypass all that character-building sweat by riding a cable car. In just 15 minutes, it whisks you above the clouds directly to a massive summit complex complete with giant Buddha statues, pagodas, and a selfie-stick army.
You can explore ancient pagodas, a monumental Buddha statue, vibrant flower gardens, and Ban May Village via a record-breaking cable car and funicular system.
The Peak: The highest point sits at 3,143 meters and offers incredible 360-degree panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and the Muong Hoa Valley.
Ban May Village: A traditional village where you can find traditional local craftsmanship.
Rose Valley: This is Vietnam's largest rose garden, featuring both ancient Sa Pa roses and imported varieties.
Miniature & Flower Gardens: The lower stations feature beautifully landscaped European-style gardens, vibrant hydrangea corners, and vast purple flower fields perfect for photography.
