AMP MBL4 - Summer 2026 Release

Hi There Pirates & Radio fans! Available now is a really great release of the Amp series of audio processors. MBL4, MBL5, MBL9 . V4.0.1 The processor is designed for radio broadcast FM / AM but can also be used general listening too or web streaming etc. It is available at www.burnill.co.uk In this video we check out how MBL4 sounds which is the 4 band processor. We Start off with an Old Irish Jig :) Some Notes: The processor runs on 64bit windows. The sound interface can be an internal sound card or an external USB Sound device. We use an external Tascam - US 2X-2HR to transport analog audio into the processor which runs on a seperate PC. The digital sound runs at 48 k which is fine for regular audio. For FM Stereo run the sound card at 192K. Processed audio is in the order of 10mS, so it is suitable for real-time operation.
