I Ran an Abandoned Waterpark By Myself… (Waterpark Simulator)

I ran an abandoned waterpark by myself in Waterpark Simulator, and somehow became responsible for rebuilding and operating basically the entire thing.
The game starts by telling me I quit my job, spent my last savings and bought an old abandoned waterpark.
At first the job sounded simple: clean up the trash, build a pool, sell tickets and get people through the gate. Then I realized I was also the cashier, maintenance worker, janitor, promoter, hot-dog vendor, lifeguard and apparently the person responsible for physically removing injured customers from the water.
Over one in-game week I tried to turn this broken park into a real business. I sold tickets, handed out flyers, built attractions, repaired equipment, cleaned up an unreasonable amount of mess, rescued drowning guests, got punched by a customer, got launched out of my own park, broke my back repeatedly through ragdoll physics and somehow still kept the place open.
I really liked Waterpark Simulator because the more successful the park became, the more things I suddenly had to think about at the same time. Every new source of money also became another thing that could break, get dirty, require maintenance or create another problem.
This is one of the first videos on my new gaming channel. I spent the last few years making dinosaur/science videos through Enchiridion, but I wanted a place where I could try new experiences, make decisions in real time, fail, improve, laugh and see what happens.
I believe in HEALTH, GAMING, COMMUNITY, and MYSELF.
Thank you God for my life and health. Grateful! God bless! :-D

ABOUT RAÚL FALCÓN
Hey! I'm Raúl Falcón.
I studied Industrial Design at Rhode Island School of Design and spent the last few years building Enchiridion, my science / natural-history YouTube channel, which has grown to around 127,000 subscribers.
This channel is newer and intentionally a lot less planned.
Right now I'm playing video games and trying experiences where I can make decisions, fail, learn something, laugh, get better and see what happens. I still love filmmaking, design, science, animation, creatures and stories, and my long-term goal is to make much bigger things. But this channel is also an experiment in making a lot, learning quickly and hopefully building a great community around the process.
I believe in HEALTH. GAMING. COMMUNITY. MYSELF.
Not really because those are nice words to put on channel art, but because I think all four matter in real life.
Community matters because people do better with meaningful relationships around them. Believing in yourself matters because you have to actually believe your actions can change something before you're going to keep trying for very long. Health gives me the ability to do basically everything else I care about. And gaming is an incredible medium for solving problems, telling stories, competing, cooperating, being creative and sometimes just having a ridiculous amount of fun.
Obviously no research paper proves an entire life philosophy. But I like knowing there is real research behind ideas I care about.
