Maple sugar is big business in West Chazy, New York

Parker Family Maple Farm in West Chazy, New York taps about 50 thousand trees each year, yielding about 25 thousand gallons of maple syrup. This project is supported by a grant awarded to Mountain Lake PBS by New York State’s Empire State Development and the I Love NY Division of Tourism under Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Regional Economic Development Council Initiative.
