The Truth About the Ethiopian Bible (What YouTube Gets Wrong)

I actually took Glyn Parry's 11:11 Divine Mindset course myself before starting this channel, if you're curious, here's the link: https://rionbyiulm.krtra.com/t/JLX0RP... (affiliate link, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you) The Ethiopian Bible has books yours doesn't, and the internet has a story for why. One of those stories has no source at all. Here is what the manuscripts, the church's own canon lists, and the council records actually show. 0:00 The Ethiopian Bible Manuscripts Europe Lost 0:32 Book of Enoch Discovery: James Bruce and Richard Laurence 1:22 How Many Books Are in the Bible? 1:52 How Many Books Are in the Ethiopian Bible? You will see what the Book of Enoch and the Book of Jubilees are, why they survive in full only in Ge'ez, and whether the Ethiopian Bible is the original Bible. We also look at whether the Book of Enoch was removed from the Bible, what really happened at Nicaea, and why one viral claim about a hidden passage has no source I could find. If you have ever searched why is the Book of Enoch not in the Bible, the answer runs through Athanasius, Jerome and Augustine. People who ask who decided which books are in the Bible usually learn it was never one vote, and anyone wondering what are the lost books of the Bible should know that Enoch was set aside rather than banned. The history of the biblical canon looks very different once you know what the Garima Gospels and the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church preserved. #ethiopianbible #bookofenoch #biblehistory
