The large implement hitched to the back of the John Deere tractor is a broadacre air seeder bar (also commonly referred to as a seeding bar or tillage drill). The specific setup details include: Folded Seeding Wings: The rows of circular metal components stacked vertically into the air are press wheels and seeding tines. Seeder bars feature a multi-section hydraulic folding frame so massive planting equipment can be folded up to safely transport down narrow public roads. The Sowing Process: When folded down in the field, this bar spans a massive width.
