The jacket is made with just 1 meter of fabric and features a decorative binding finish around the edges, so you don't need a serger for this project. The jacket is made with two layers of fabric, which are joined together using a simple hand-basting technique before sewing the jacket. However, this fabric-making step is completely optional.
