PRESS NOTE Flag March in Charminar Zone Ahead of Ganesh Festival: Today, Kiran Khare, IPS, DCP Charminar Zone, along with Chandrashekhar, ACP Charminar, Inspectors, RAF personnel and other police staff, conducted a flag march from Hussainialam PS to Rajesh medical hall to Charminar to ensure law & order and peaceful conduct of the upcoming Ganesh festival. During the march, DCP appealed to the public and Ganesh Utsav organisers to cooperate with the police in maintaining peace and public order. Key Instructions: 1. Strictly follow all Police Department guidelines and ensure peaceful conduct of Ganesh processions. 2. Do not take the law into your own hands and maintain peace and harmony. 3. Use of DJs during Ganesh processions is prohibited and organisers must comply with police instructions. 4. Strict legal action will be taken against anyone violating the law or police guidelines. 5. During the recent Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, violations including use of DJs were identified through drone surveillance and action was taken. Similar action will be taken against violators during Ganesh processions. 6. Those willing to volunteer and assist the police during Ganesh processions are requested to visit their respective Police Stations and register their names in advance. DCP appealed to all citizens, Ganesh Utsav organisers and volunteers to extend their cooperation to the Police Department for the peaceful, safe and smooth conduct of the Ganesh festival.
