Dessie's Farm

Dessie Cronin is a host farmer for Kerry Social Farming situated in the stunning location of Ballinskelligs on the Iveragh Peninsula in South West Kerry. Participants Ryan O Sullivan & John Cahill, who live in Iveragh with their families and avail of Cunamh Iveragh day centre in conjunction with Kerry Parents & Friends Association (KPFA) day services locally in Cahersiveen attend Dessie's farm once a week for social farming activities. As well as host farmer, the participants are also supported on the farm by KPFA staff Irene Brune. Another host farm family Christy & Mary McDonnell, Kells, also feature in this video. Dessie's son David attends social farming on the McDonnells farm.
