Chadha, who was earlier a part of the Aam Aadmi Party, wrote a long post on social media and called it a political vendetta. BJP MP said that Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government in Punjab has now taken its politics of revenge to draft electoral rolls. He claimed that his voter ID is registered in Punjab’s Mohali. Yet the name is classified as ‘shifted’ in the draft electoral rolls. Raghav Chadha’s name appeared on the ASDD, i.e. Absent, Shifted, Deceased and Duplicate list. This list was published on August 13. The reason for his entry in the list was marked ‘permanently shifted’. Notably, Chadha is among 20.66 lakh voters, which is around 9.7 per cent of Punjab’s pre-SIR electorate, whose names have been deleted from the draft rolls.
