In today's Gospel, Jesus warns his followers including us about the danger of hearing His Word but not allowing the word take root in us. St. Paul picks up the theme and warns about being two sided in our way of life, that is, eating from the Altar of God and eating from the altar of demons. Do we allow ourselves be transformed by His Word. Lord Jesus, grant me the grace to allow my life to become that good soil ready to receive the rain, which is Your Word and allow myself to be totally transformed by IT.
