On December 30, 2000, in Setagaya (Tokyo), the entire Miyazawa family — father, mother, and two children — was murdered inside their home. The killer entered through a window, killed all four family members, and then remained in the house for hours, using the computer, eating food, and leaving many objects and his own DNA throughout the scene. Despite a huge amount of evidence (DNA, fingerprints, clothing, objects, footprints), the murderer has never been identified. The case remains unsolved to this day.
