I’ve tried turning this BOWL 100X’s - the PERFECT shape, then the CROTCH FEATHER steals the show…

In this video, I turn a wet block of black walnut into a stunning bowl with a shape I have been trying to turn since I started turning bowls. The crotch figure and grain work together to paint a gorgeous rainbow of colors. The turning was so relaxing as it usually is when turning walnut. Nature’s relaxation media. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it. 😊 Have a nice day.  Rob, Copper Owl Woodturning ------------------------------------------------ BE A GOOD HUMAN ------------------------------------------------ Wood: Black Walnut ------------------------------------------------ Specs: 7.00” x 6.69” x 2.75” tall .32” wall thickness 3.55” x 3.44” x .08” foot 8.3 oz Conversations: 1” = 25.4mm 1oz ‎ = 28.35 g Sanded with 220, & 320grit sandpaper Burnished with maroon scotch-brite pad Finished with Mahoney’s Walnut Utility Oil for deep penetrating protection.
