This video shows you how to install new front outer tie rods from TRQ on your 2011-2016 Kia Optima (2.4L L4). Outer tie rods, sometimes referred to as “tie rod ends,” connect the steering rack to the steering knuckle. Their joints can wear out over time, causing loose steering, vibrations, and uneven tire wear. They are also a common failure point in localities with safety inspections.
This repair was done on a 2015 Kia Optima LX 2.4L Sedan 4-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2011 Kia Optima
2012 Kia Optima
2013 Kia Optima
2014 Kia Optima
2015 Kia Optima
2016 Kia Optima
