Songs for When You're Tired of Being Strong 🥃 Dark Blues for the Man Who Holds Everyone Up

Everybody leans on him. Nobody asks how he is. Two hours of dark, slow gentleman blues for the man who holds everyone up and has nowhere to put it down: deep weary baritone vocals, crying slide guitar, dark piano and Hammond organ, on a rainy tram-stop bench after the last shift. Sit down for a while. You don't have to be strong in here. 🥃 For late nights, quiet drinks and the long ride home 🎸 Slow dark blues, original songs, deep male vocals 🌧️ Rain, an empty tram stop, one gas lamp and a wooden bench Tracklist: 0:00:00 Tired of Being Strong 0:04:02 The Steady One 0:07:55 Last Tram Home 0:12:06 Nobody Asks Me 0:15:56 Work-Worn Hands 0:20:08 Pillar in the Rain 0:24:08 Who Holds the Holder 0:28:11 One More Day, Old Man 0:32:18 Shoulder for the Whole Town 0:36:24 Don't Let Them See Me Tired 0:40:24 Bench at the Empty Station 0:44:32 Strong Back, Weary Soul 0:48:54 Father's Coat Fits Me Now 0:53:23 Little Brother, Don't Lean Tonight 0:57:24 The Wall Don't Get to Cry 1:01:19 Rain on My Hat Brim 1:05:22 Steady Man's Lullaby 1:09:33 I Carry, I Don't Complain 1:13:26 Strong Ones Get Tired Too 1:17:18 Old Photograph of a Young Man 1:21:30 Whiskey for the One Who Stays 1:25:36 Tired, Not Broken 1:29:41 Under the Tram Stop Light 1:33:57 Mama Leaned on Me 1:37:59 Somebody Has to Be the Rock 1:41:57 Wet Coat on the Kitchen Chair 1:45:58 Let Me Be Weak for a While 1:50:11 Big Shoulders, Quiet Mouth 1:53:58 When the Steady Man Sits Down 1:57:50 Goodnight, Strong Man If you're the one everybody leans on, this one's for you.
