Shifting cultivation (Jhum) and turmeric farming looks easy but it's the toughest job. • Cutting forest and clearing land with bare hands • Working in heavy rain and hot sun • No tractor, no machines, only hand tools • Wild animals destroy the crop at night • No fixed market price for organic haldi • Whole family works in the field, still less income This video is dedicated to all those cultivators who are growing food for us with so much pain.
