Big Legal Trouble for 2 Newly Elected Independent MLCs in Bihar! Joined BJP Without Knowing Rules? A major political controversy has erupted in Bihar following the victory of two independent candidates in the MLC elections—Banshidhar Brajwasi (Tirhut Graduate Seat) and Rahul Raj (Saran). However, after realizing that under Paragraph 2(2) of the 10th Schedule of the Constitution and Article 191(2), an independent winner joining any political party faces disqualification, both leaders backtracked, claiming they only extended external support. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Jha has released video evidence and demanded the immediate cancellation of their MLC membership. Now, the final decision rests with the Chairman.
