The PROTON eMAS 7 PHEV does promise much for the money. For under RM130k you get a generously-proportioned C-segment SUV, with one of the most thermally-efficient engines in the world employed under the bonnet with a sizeable 29kWh battery able to power you for nearly 140km on a single charge without using a drop of fuel. All of this sounds very promising.
