4 : How to get Clean Audio when wiring up a scratchy white office shirt -

Simon demonstrates a technique he learnt from an Oscar winning sound recordist which uses the isolating qualities of a Vampire clips to help achieve clean audio on this scratchy white office shirt. We use an LMC Sound COS11 Vamp Clip with a white COS11 mic, instead of piercing the fabric we stick the fangs through a small cutting of white URSA Moleskin Tape. This is then stuck to the position required just under the top button and the cable is secured with a small loop and a strip of 3M Durapore Sticky Tape.
