Speedway 41 9/5/26 | Jr 2 Main Event | GoPro Harlow Lovenburg (8th to 2nd Comeback!)

GoPro footage from Harlow Lovenburg’s 15-lap Jr 2 Main Event at Speedway 41 on 9/5/26. Harlow rolled off from the 3rd starting spot behind the wheel of her brother Ty’s #01T hotrod again. She stayed in 3rd for the first 5 laps and looked faster than 2nd, but just couldn’t quite figure out a way around for the position. Once she finally made the move, the caution came out, which reverted the field back to the last completed lap and put Harlow back in 3rd for the restart. On the restart, 2nd got underneath the leader through turns 1 and 2. As they battled for position, Harlow tried to sneak back underneath them through turns 3 and 4. The car in 2nd got sideways, Harlow got tight and pushed up the track, and the two got together. The field piled up behind them, but fortunately everyone was ok. It was definitely a scary one, and Harlow was frustrated with herself, but she was ready to move forward. She restarted 8th with 10 laps remaining and went right back to work. Harlow quickly moved up to 6th on the first lap after the restart, then picked up a spot each of the next two laps to put herself back into 3rd with 6 laps to go. From there, she set her sights on the front two cars. A late-race caution bunched the field back up, giving her one more shot. On the restart, Harlow stayed right with 2nd and made her move coming to the white flag. She was able to make the pass stick and brought it home with a 2nd-place finish after a rough start to the main event.
