Umbral Monument Is A Step In The Right Direction (Arknights Endfield)

Arknights Endfield introduced a new permanent gamemode called Umbral Monument and it shifted the entire meta. Defenders are given the spotlight and this ends the cycle of "tanks are useless" in gacha games. (REMEMBER, NEVER LISTEN TO TIER LISTS. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH/READ THE IN-GAME KITS) I think Umbral Monument showcases how good Endfield's combat can be via positioning, approach, and proper planning. It also encourages you to experiment on team building and the fact that now you have options in terms of having a support character that debuffs and heals, a defender that reduces damage and heals, or a sub-dps that debuffs your enemies. Overall, I think Hypergryph did a great job on the gamemode and I want them to keep doing interesting gamemodes like Umbral Monument moving forwards.
