I watched Kenya’s most talked-about film this week. ANAM’S WAKE, Spider-Man & my sister’s birthday

Two films, one market run, one birthday, and two days where absolutely nothing was filmed — which is also part of the deal. This week I finally sat down and planned things properly, went to see ANAM’S WAKE (Likarion Wainaina’s Kenyan psychological thriller — I’m still thinking about it), got a run in, wandered the market, and closed out the week with Spider-Man: Brand New Day and my sister’s birthday. No spoilers for either film, promise. 🎬 Films in this vlog: ANAM’S WAKE (dir.
