1923 6ft 4in Knabe "Hepplewhite" Ampico A - Saw Mill River Road - Adam Carroll

Here's a little clip of some progress on the Knabe Hepplewhite. It's been almost a year since work started on this piano. This piano at one time had been gutted of It's Ampico and when it underwent a full restoration about 14 years ago, the Ampico system that was put into it was unfortunately done poorly and the stack was much too short. Ben Gottfried has been busy at work building a custom stack for this piano along with doing a complete rebuild of the Ampico system, while I have been getting the piano itself dialed in. Although there's still a bit of tweaking left to do, she's really coming along and almost as good as when she left the factory floor. Here is "Saw Mill River Road" played by Adam Carroll on the 1923 6ft 4in Knabe "Hepplewhite" Ampico A. Enjoy! https://bensplayerservice.com/
