We are very fortunate to live near Margao, which has lots of places which have really inexpensive but really tasty Goan food. I’m looking forward to having chicken xacuti and I’m sure Maria might like to have something in mutton Hotel Madhav is located in the Panchratna Complex near New Market, Margao, South Goa. It is quite impossible to find place to park cars here in the day time. That’s why we came on bike today Go from the right to go behind the buildings. Next time we will take food from here Today, we're having veg pulao, Goan mutton chilli and Goan chicken xacuti Here mostly people who come to town, for marketing, and the vendors who are there, mostly they come here and eat We have lots to catch up on while waiting for our food but food always comes fast here Here is our appetising lunch of chicken xacuti, Goan mutton chilli and veg pulao. Really generous amount of mutton. And chicken also. Huge servings of everything actually. Such a humble place and such big quantities Maria really liked the pulao plain, by itself, before even tasting the mutton Just perfect chicken xacuti. Pulao is also excellent I wanted Maria to taste the xacuti but she doesn’t want because she has had it before and she is so happy with the mutton and pulao that she doesn’t want to change the taste in her mouth Such soft mutton. Actually a very different taste from the Goan chilli mutton we are used to. But very good. Rosewater taste. No wonder Maria didn’t want to change the taste in her mouth We were saying this generous dish of mutton is just Rs 220 and one new restaurant which has opened in our area, the starter is only Rs 380. One of our viewers had recommended we try that starter at this new restaurant. But even if we have the money, we don’t want to pay such insane prices.
