We Got Lost And Ended Up At Chili’s

Welcome to Day 2 of the Long Trail. The midnight rain makes the hiking harder. The trail becomes a river. We jump from rock to rock without much luck keeping our feet dry. We try our best to reach the road and hitchhike to Bennington for more food (and end up in a place we didn’t plan for). One of our hiking friends told us the Long Trail was the hardest trail he’s ever done, and we can see why! The miles come slow, but we are very excited to be hiking again.
