Unsere Gruppe, bestehend aus vier Skitourengängen und einen Splitboarder, machte sich in dieses Gebiet auf um herauszufinden, ob dieses Tal auch im Hochwinter für Tourengänger etwas zubieten hat. Dies haben wir in der schneereichsten Zeit der letzten Jahre geschafft. Leider nicht mit einer ganz stabilen Schneedecke. Für eine Erkundungstour und eine tiefe Powderfahrt im Wald hat es aber alle mal gelangt. Unser Quartier war der Langtauferer Hof. Ein vier Sterne Hotel in der nähe von Melag, Südtirol. Ein stillvoll eingerichtetes Hotel, ausgestattet mit Whirlpool und Sauna auf dem Dach, einem ausgezeichnetem italienischen Koch und einem guten Augen für die Details in den Zimmern. A very interesting weekend in the Langtauferer Hof in South Tyrol. Our group, consisting of four skiers and a splitboarder, went to this area to find out if this valley has something to offer even in the high winter for skitouring. We made it in the snowiest time of the last years. Unfortunately not with a very stable snowpack. For an exploration tour and a deep powder run in the forest but it was enough. Our base camo were the Langtauferer Hof. A four star hotel near Melag, South Tyrol. A stylishly furnished hotel, equipped with a rooftop jacuzzi and sauna, an excellent Italian chef and a good eye for the details in the rooms. Want more about our life, adventures or training?
