Today is one of the most emotional and meaningful days in our dream home construction journey! For the FIRST TIME since we started building our dream home, my beloved mum is finally coming to see the house! ❤️🙏🏾 After all the planning, sacrifices, construction work and countless milestones, sharing this beautiful moment with my mother means more than words can express. And to celebrate her special visit, we’re preparing an extraordinary traditional African village feast featuring a WHOLE 30KG COW LEG grilled over firewood, beef cooked in glass jars, creamy coconut vegetables and delicious homemade ugali! 🥩🔥 ❤️😭 MY MUM’S FIRST VISIT TO OUR DREAM HOME! What an unforgettable family moment! Since the beginning of our house-building journey, my mum has never had the opportunity to visit and see our dream home. Today, that changes! We’re welcoming her into the house for the very first time and sharing the progress we’ve made throughout this incredible journey. Watch the beautiful outdoor cooking experience as we prepare this enormous cut of beef for our family celebration! The smoky firewood atmosphere and excitement of preparing such a large meal make this a memorable African village cooking experience. 🥩🫙 BEEF COOKED IN GLASS JARS! We’re also exploring a unique way of preparing beef using glass jars. This special dish adds another interesting cooking experience to our family feast, showcasing the creativity and variety of homemade countryside meals. 🥥🌿 CREAMY COCONUT VEGETABLES! To accompany our beef dishes, we’re preparing delicious vegetables in rich, creamy coconut sauce.
