Many devotional folk songs of Rajasthan are based on writing of some great saint. This song is a Bhajan written by Shiv Nath, a disciple of Laadu Nath one of the popular Nath Guru from Rajasthan. Song is called Guru Mahima (Praising of Teacher) in the song Shiv Nath is saying that it was the result of my karma of my previous life that I have found a great Guru like Laadu Nath who showed me the path of Bhakti (devotion). He clears all of my doubt and gave me the true meaning of devotion. He took care of me like a gardener takes care of his plants.
