A single damaged crossing turned a narrow route through eastern Ukraine into a logistics trap, where a Ukrainian drone attack halted a Russian convoy carrying ammunition and artillery. The blocked approach left follow-on vehicles exposed to further FPV strikes.
A damaged bridge on a single supply route forced a Russian convoy into a narrow approach from the east, with open ground exposing vehicles once the crossing was blocked. Launched from Ukrainian-controlled ground, a Shark-D reconnaissance UAV tracked the convoy as Russian electronic warfare disrupted its picture and air-defence crews covered the route. Decoy drones drew fire from Pantsir guns and small-arms positions, while FPV operators changed channels and pressed through the interference. The first strike hit an ammunition truck at the crossing; the second found vehicles compressed behind it, turning the damaged bridge from a passage into a fixed logistics trap.
🗺 What to watch on the map
• Damaged crossing — concentrates vehicles at one vulnerable passage
• Open approach — exposes the convoy after movement stops
• Single supply route — leaves no practical bypass
• Electronic interference — disrupts control but cannot clear the road
Would you defend the damaged crossing, the open approach, or the route behind it?

◆ Source note: A reconstruction built on publicly reported events and open mapping. Documented: Shark reconnaissance UAVs in Ukrainian service; Pantsir air-defence systems in Russian service; FPV drones used against Russian logistics; Russian electronic-warfare systems near the front. Illustrative: the convoy's exact vehicle count and ammunition tonnage; the precise channel-switching sequence; the second-by-second decoy and interception order; the final damage assessment.
