Giant Scottish cultural floats decorated with thistles, tartan, bagpipes and Highland symbols move along a grand parade avenue surrounded by the beautiful Cairngorm Mountains. Hundreds of pipers and drummers in traditional kilts march together in powerful Massed Pipe Bands, while Highland dancers perform traditional dances including the Highland Fling and Sword Dance. The celebration also features classic Highland Games events such as Putting the Stone, Tossing the Caber, Scottish Hammer and Tug of War.
