He loved video games, soccer, and his saxophone. He taught himself to code and built websites. He died of leukemia at 15, and less than 20 years later he was declared a saint. This is the story of Saint Carlo Acutis, the first millennial saint. In this video, we cover: • Who Carlo was and how he grew up in Milan • Why he is called the “patron saint of the internet” (and why that title is informal) • How he taught himself to program and used technology to serve others • The Eucharistic miracles exhibition he created at age 11 • His illness, his death in 2006, and his funeral • The two miracles recognized by the Church, including the one in Brazil • His canonization on September 7, 2025, and what his life can teach us today A note on sources: the accounts of miracles and some personal details come from the Church, his family, and those who knew him. Believing in Eucharistic miracles is a matter of faith, and this video presents them as reported, not as scientifically proven.
