Microphones were set in the classic (X-Y) position and pointed directly at sound firing from overhead. SHOW NOTES: Geordie Greep's North American band is back on the road again in Summer 2026 and they came out playing so hot it could have been later in the tour. As always, this band continues to change things up every night between the playing and the setlist. This show opened with a surprise, probably the fastest tempo I've ever heard them play Walk Up. I was excited to hear them play a relatively new cover in Aguanile, the early set Parabola / Motorbike was a surprise, and the jam excursions felt longer during this show. I was fine with them scrapping a couple of songs (no Snow Shoes or Mighty Mouse) in favor of being able to jam more. Cameron Campbell's showstopping moment during The Magician is a highlight every night, but this show was the first time I can remember the band creating a swell that lifted him up into the solo rather than just dropping out and letting him do his thing. The chemistry continues to rise with this unit. Some different things sonically, at least that I noticed: Geordie didn't play any of his hollow body guitars, favoring his synth guitar more, which I liked a lot. And Cameron didn't have the ARP Odyssey in his rig that was front and center (and awesome) during his solos in Spring 2026. Another winner from the Geordie Greep North American Band.
