The History of Glenmalure Lodge

At home anywhere is the tagline of Dolomites-based outdoor brand Salewa. We wanted to bring this tagline to the Wicklow Mountains and showcase some of the spaces in the Irish outdoors that make us feel at home. Glenmalure Lodge does just that. Owned and run by the Dowling family since 1992, this lodge was built as a stagecoach stop in 1801 and was known then as the Wiseman's inn.
