Presentation Description: DisDATA (Disability Data Advocates Taking Action) is a collaborative of researchers, disabled people, and advocates promoting disability data equity. Disabled people, particularly those in congregate settings, are made invisible through the lack of data collection and representation leading to a disability data inequity. DisDATA is building a network to connect advocates, researchers, and policy makers around the shared goal of improving access to and representation within disability data systems. This webinar is an opportunity to learn about how you can get involved in DisDATA and share experiences accessing and using data for advocacy. Presenters: Lillie Greiman, Project Director at RTC: Rural at The Rural Institute for Inclusive Communities Arin Leopold, Research Associate at RTC: Rural at The Rural Institute for Inclusive Communities Date: 1/27/2022 #DisData
