“On the morning of Tuesday, September 18, 2007, twenty-eight-year-old Nailah Oliani Franklin was inside or near her condominium in Chicago’s University Village, exchanging emails with the man she had recently begun building a serious relationship with. Yet before that Tuesday was over, strange messages would begin coming from her phone, her car would be driven out of Chicago, her belongings would be scattered across communities south of the city, and Nailah herself would vanish. The last confirmed images of her alive would show a former boyfriend, Reginald Potts Jr., following her toward the parking garage of her building. Where did she go and what happened to her?"
