Harvesting grass silage with two Krone RX 400 GD • LU Peter Kircher | Agrarvolution Praxis

On a warm summer evening the agricultural contractor Peter Kircher (   / peterkircherlohnunternehmen  ) harvest grass silage with two loader wagons. These use a special rotor with a narrow gap between blades, which is supposed to produce extra short cuts. The machines were working after the dark to harvest in the rest of the forage. A Case IH 7120 with extra weight distributes and compacts the grass in the silo with a Veenhuis silage distrubator.
