I was wrong about Resident Evil 1. After criticizing the game before ever giving it a fair chance, I finally entered the Spencer Mansion and completed Resident Evil HD Remaster for the first time. What I found was one of the scariest, most rewarding, and surprisingly accessible games in the Resident Evil series.
