Vermont Fall Foliage: A Nor'easter Almost Stole the Finale | Chasing Colors

We chased fall color all the way from Virginia, and we saved Vermont for last. Then a nor'easter rolled in. In this episode of Chasing Colors, Gennie and I make Woodstock, Vermont our basecamp and set out to find peak foliage before the weather wins. We tour the von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort in Stowe and meet Maria von Trapp's granddaughter, photograph the classic Stowe church, and drive Smugglers' Notch. With time running out, we ride the Stowe Gondola SkyRide into the clouds anyway. Then the clouds parted.
